Hi Brian, In the Fall of 2012 when we purchased Luminis and professional services we were told by a few of our Ellucian consultants that load balancing of CAS was not an option. We decided we needed the redundancy to move the portal into production as we had that with our current SSO system. So we worked to implement CAS 3.5.2 in a 3 node cluster using ehcache behind our load balancer. It has performed flawlessly, and now that we are utilizing Tomcat 8 with the benefit of non-blocking IO we comfortably achieved 200 logins per second, or 700,000 per hour. I've found it interesting that Ellucian with a large team of programmers had not undertaken this earlier. We would be more than happy to share our experience with you, if you would like to contact me directly please do. Regards, Scott

We are looking for a 24/7 solution and also for our DR plan. Thanks, Brian Brian Lewis Director, Administrative Computing and Web Services Ellucian Moraine Park Technical College 235 N.
