Unfortunately I'm currently not running CAS on top of that setup. But 
earlier experiences with the differences in JDK hinted me to use the Sun 
implementation when that is easy to do so.
It's really easy to test whether the Sun JDK does work in this 
combination so I suggest you try that first (you can switch to and back 
by editing tomcat.conf and restarting Tomcat).
