Andrew, Yes you can use CAS even if your applications are deployed on different Tomcat instances (and even different domains).
Your easiest option is to download the CAS distribution and deploy the demo cas.war file located in the modules/cas-server-webapp directory. You can then point any of your client applications to the demo war file (after configuring them to use CAS). -Scott On 8/22/07, Andew Hole <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hello! > > The standard installation that we have is a single Apache server, which > delegates work to (different) Tomcat instances based on the URL provided, all > configured > in the worker.properties > > We would like to use the single-sign-on but we don't have no one experience > in this > subject. > > We would like to make a demonstration to our team, explaining capabilities of > CAS. > > Is it possible use single sing-on if applications are under different tomcat > instances? > > > Could you help us? > > Thanks a lot > > > > > _______________________________________________ > Yale CAS mailing list > [email protected] > http://tp.its.yale.edu/mailman/listinfo/cas > > -- -Scott Battaglia LinkedIn: http://www.linkedin.com/in/scottbattaglia
