Pascal,

Descriptions of the definitions of the opaque identifiers for the various
tickets can be found in the protocol document:
http://www.ja-sig.org/products/cas/overview/protocol/index.html

The actual implementations (most just use SecureRandom) can be found in the
org.jasig.cas.util package:
http://developer.ja-sig.org/source/browse/jasigsvn/cas3/trunk/cas-server-core/src/main/java/org/jasig/cas/util
