Hello, I use CAS version 3.2 with the SearchModeSearchDatabaseAuthenticationHandler to connecting with a Microsoft SQL-Server. Every authentication with CAS fails, if the user name and/or password have one/more special German character(s). When I enter an user name like e.g. "Müller", I got "MÃŒller" back. I observe, there are problems with the character §, ß, ö, ä, ü.
For testing purpose I try: - SimpleTestUsernamePasswordAuthenticationHandler with default layout. - under SuSe Linux Enterprise Server and Microsoft Windows 2003 Server - CAS version 3.2.1 But so far I could not find the error.
