Hi everyone,
I currently use the 12-bit MKID ADC board. It works well, but one issue we have with it is that it has a low-frequency cutoff that is quite high. We are trying to record voltage waveforms as a function of time (rather like an oscilloscope), and so this is somewhat of a nuisance for us. Our pulses are currently typically 20 ns long, and already the low frequency cutoff is causing significant distortion of the waveforms. When we go to 100 ns pulses, the pulse has near zero amplitude near the end. Does anyone have recommendations for the best ADC board available for ROACH1 that has a lower low-frequency cutoff? (Ideally we'd like bandwidth from DC, but we probably wouldn't notice a 100 kHz cutoff.) Is the CASPER wiki up-to-date about what ADC boards are forthcoming? I'd also be interested to learn about new developments that aren't on the wiki yet. Thanks, Peter
