I want to know how to clock two ADC boards on one ROACH (1) board so they will be in sync with the ROACH clock which is taken from one ADC board. We have two ADC boards: an old iADC ADC2x1000-8 board and an ADC1x3000-8 adc083000 board. We use these because even the old versions of the CASPER library have yellow blocks for them. The ADC1x3000-8 board is missing its J2 connector (a common omission) but can easily have one installed. The old iADC board seems to have all its connectors. I operate at 2 GHz ADC clock and 250 MHz ROACH clock. We plan to buy another of one of these boards so we operate with identical ADC boards.
In the past, I did not need the two ADC boards synchronized. Soon we will need to have two synchronized boards running on one ROACH board. Have any of you had success running two of either of these ADC boards in sync?
