i recommend only using operating systems that xilinx supports. we've encountered very strange and very subtle problems when using non xilinx supported operating systems - eg; one problem we found, we didn't get any error messages, but the FFT in our design didn't produce correct results when computing FFT's over 2^12 points. when we switched to a xilinx supported operating system (RHEL), the exact same simulink design worked fine.
also, xilinx will not answer any questions if you are using a non-supported operating system. best wishes, dan On Wed, Jul 10, 2013 at 1:49 AM, Alex Zahn <avzah...@gmail.com> wrote: > Hi all, > > A bit of a picky question: > > The wiki mentions Ubuntu 12.04 and RHEL 6 as compatible with ISE 14.
