      I am not sure whether your problems been solved. If not,you can try to 
download some files in the 
website(https://casper.berkeley.edu/wiki/MSSGE_Setup_with_Xilinx_14.x_and_Matlab_2012b
 ) and add them to your /pcores as it said. If you can simulate the tut2.mdl  
well,It's probabley a problem of the version of your EDK.
