It seems github has some policies about binary files that may not show them as you'd expect. But for tutorial 3, you should be able to go here:
https://github.com/casper-astro/tutorials_devel/commit/ab557d6192cec4aff49634f3a20a979e81ead69f click on the view button for the file you want (e.g. tut3.mdl.gz) and then click on 'view the full file'. I think that should download it for you.
