Hi Aravind, Yes, you need casperfpga to configure the Red Pitaya. The tutorials explains how to use casperfpga. The Zynq processor on the Red Pitaya is running software called tcpborphserver. Casperfpga is a python comms package communicates with the tcpborphserver. You can also telnet to tcpborphserver directly on port 7147 and type "help?" It will give you a list of commands.
I suggest as a beginner to use casperfpga. It is not very well documented compared to the Toolflow, but I am happy to guide you through it.
