Hi all. After several years of working on other things astronomy, I'm
coming back to collecting data and processing it with FPGA based
systems. My application is collecting image data from optical/IR focal
plane arrays using multiple GTx serdes, processing it lightly, and
streaming it off to a computer over 40 or 100 Gb Ethernet for further
processing.

I tried to find information on current CASPER activities (mainly when the
next workshop is to be held!), but I just found the mostly empty web page
at https://casper-astro.github.io/ and the github repo itself.

The web page mentions a Casper slack. How do I get connected to that?

Is the best way to get (re-) started still to go get the tutorials and
build them?

Thanks!

John
