I had a chance to look into MR 3 today. My first task with MR 3 was updating the Spark view engine. I assumed MR 3 was MR 2 with updated binaries, and anticipated a quick update. However it looks like MR 3 is a complete redesign from the ground up. Is this correct? Is there any documentation for MR 3 or how to migrate from 2.0 to 3.0?
I'm hoping I can update Spark to MR 3 on my own and then update my projects that use MR.
