Well, I kind of touched on this in my other email about the single HTML document, but I have had a couple of issues with the documentation.
The MicroKernel vs Windsor article is missing altogether, and I think that's a key issue to someone first coming across Castle. The difference between the two is initially pretty fuzzy and the boundaries are unclear. Other than that, I'd really love to see a really simple howto style article. I think that Introducing Castle Pt 1 fulfills a lot of this, but it's a bit off. Assume that someone reading it is already sold on inversion of control and is looking to be sold on Castle over spring, objectbuilder, etc. Basically just from "Castle Windsor" on to "Extending the Container". This document needs to be prominent - it should be the first thing someone looks at when they come to the castle website interested in it as an unfamiliar implementation of a concept they're very familiar with. > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On > Behalf Of hammett > Sent: Tuesday, July 18, 2006 1:52 PM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [Castle-users] Startable facility > > On 7/18/06, Shawn Hinsey <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > It's funny you should mention a Windows Service, because that's > > exactly what I'm working with.
