Your "XML" document is not well-formed. The XML must be well formed if
you want it to work, which means you can only have one root element
(read the W3C XML 1.0 Recommendation for more information), otherwise
the XML parser will complain.
So you'll need to do something like:
<classes>
<class1>
...
</class1>
<class1>
</class1>
</classes>
