nobody is suggesting that you will have to wait three years for any Tiger features to 
show up in Castor .. ;-).

Having said that, I am well aware of the point you are trying to make. I am reading up 
on new features such as java.util.concurrent, generics, etc. myself, 
and whilst doing so, I can clearly see how Castor might and will improve from such 
language features being incorporated into the code base.

I think that we will have to come up with a universal solution towards all this, 
something along the lines of using e.g. Ant and its features to compile code 
conditionally.
