Keith, I have filed the bug report (http://bugzilla.exolab.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1902) and attached some classes and a mapping file that demonstrate the problem. Any insight you can provide would be very much appreciated. I am pretty sure the problem is on the line that I highlighted but I don't understand what's going on in the code enough to know what the if statement's condition needs to be.
I have tried the latest code from CVS and the problem still exists. Thanks, Dan. -----Original Message----- From: Keith Visco [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thu 03/03/2005 05:14 To: castor-dev@exolab.org Cc: Subject: Re: [castor-dev] RE: "unable to find FieldDescriptor" when using auto-naming with location attribute Hi Dan, Can you open up a bug report at http://bugzilla.exolab.org. If you can attach a small-as-possible test case to the bug report that would be great. I'm actually working with the UnmarshalHandler at the moment and checked in a few fixes related to the location attribute though I don't think they are the same as what you're experiencing but you might want to try the latest CVS just to make sure. Once I have something to run here I will be able to better assist you.
