I never really saw anything in their lineup that looked like what I'd want in a boatshoe. (i.e., Keen)
the Antiqua doesnt offer enough foot protection as far as I'm concerned. I really dont like to have crew wearing sandals. There have been one too many times when I've had to wash blood off the deck, back at the slip. as far as their Newport H2, that might be a good shoe, but I dont care for that much heel height...I think a flatter sole with lowered CG is really important and reduces the likelihood of twisted ankles and just plain old loss of balance. I like to stay low, frankly, and another inch of thick sole is not favorable, imho. my 2 cents, but then I've never worn either of these shoes.
