Hey I resemble that remark –   I used a piece of Oriental looking runner – got it the local home center  they sell it as stair runner.  They just happened to have some that was just about the right width for the cabin rubber backed no slipping. Are there special specs for boat carpet? Is it likely the snaps will be in the right place when I go to install it? Would I be better off to buy the carpet as a rectangle, lay it on the floor, then cut it and install the snaps in place?
