I was reading my latest GOB about HIN's. It states that boats built after Aug 84 had the number in two places. On the starboard side of the transom and inside the hull "in an unexposed location or beneath a fitting or item of hardware". The HIN had to be 1/4 inch or larger in size. Has anyone with a 84 or newer model ever found the HIN inside the boat?
