I have one that I like called "The Wind in the Rigging." I got it in 1995 at this quaint little nautical shop in the Outer Banks, but it is available on Amazon.

Unfortunately, Amazon doesn't have any sampler tracks recorded. It's mainly pipe and harmonica music:

the kid's birthday(18th) is Thursday and, oddly enough, she wants a CD of sailing shanties.

she only sails intermittantly, so I dont know where this is coming from, although it may've had something to do with seeing "Master & Commander" on a huge home projection
screen last month, I dunno. (terrific, btw)

so anyway, does anyone have any recommendations on a CD of Sea Shanties? These should most likely be true Shanties, not vacation music. (no disrespect to vacation
music, just not relevant on this occassion)
