I use my portable Starmate mount just forward of the DC distribution panel.  Rout the antenna wire under the cushions and up along the instrument wires. I use the car type antenna and Velcro it down between the hatchway and the main winch.  Works great.  I also Velcro it inside the cabin when not in use.
 
My original intent was to permanently install a home type antenna inside the cabin, however due to unavailability I went this rout. 
 
By the way the AM antennas work with the Sirius radio.
