I agree - most of my Ham Radio gear is Icom - have one radio that's now over 20 years old and still going strong. I find though that I use my hand held more than the fixed VHF - usually calling the launch or when coming into a marina since the fixed is in the cabin and the hand held on sail with coupon was less than a remote mike
