I’m looking to replace my main sail. My old sail is shelf footed, 4 regular battens, two reefs. I’m looking at the prices at National Sail Supply and thinking this winter I’ll get a new sail in time for spring. For a good price and a sail I’ll be happy with for cruising the Chesapeake where should I also be looking?   The question is. Are there any deals to be had? Sail lofts no doubt have a season and prices no doubt fluctuate or delivery times. What have others thought of their Rolly Tasker main? Should I get full battens, loose foot. I like having two reefs so I’ll be looking for that but it’s no big deal to add another reef.   Is anyone in the Annapolis racing fleet looking to sell their main. When in the season might that happen so I know when to ask?   Has any unfortunate soul lost their boat in a hurricane and has a good main in the attic?   Mark Tamblyn 1976 C27 Josephine Gloucester Point VA
