    Indeed, Lance, I have rebuilt my Princess stove; a couple of times, 
actually.  And, I got it to working well, always careful to avoid the dreaded 
alcohol "flare ups."
     Why not change to an Origo as Chris Maddox suggests?  I'm cheap and didn't 
want to pay $300 or so for a new stove.  But, mostly, I was attempting to 
"restore" my '76 not simply "fix-up." so I tried to use original parts 
throughout.  
     I found another Princess at a marine consignment and salvage store for 
$50, which I used as a source of parts.  I also received counsel and other 
parts from A & H Enterprises in California.  Their website:
