I replaced my old Navico with the ST 2000. It is fast, powerful and
very, very quiet. The downside is that it is not waterproof. If you
sail in foul weather like I do, you'll have to take extra
precautions. I had to bring it in for repairs (under warranty) as it
got wet inside. When I discussed it with the tech he seemed
bewildered that anyone would sail in anything but perfect conditions.

I am seriously considering purchasing a Raymarine ST2000 Tiller Pilot (great
discount at boat show)
Has anyone installed one on their C27? How did it work out? Do you have
any photos of the installation? Any words of advice from the great
minds out there?
