Nice shot Dave.
We brought a boat back from Oxford on Saturday. Jolly Mon had raced over the weekend before, but the skipper wasn't feeling well enough to race back on Sunday so we took his wife's boat over (she works for Hinckley). Let's just say a wonderful RUN over on Saturday morning at 30k (a little over an hour point to point) and 5+ hours under motor on the way home. There was little to no breeze and by the time we cleared Knapps Narrows we had had enough beer that popping the chute seemed like too much work. We had also fabricated a nice tarp over the cockpit and would have to derig that whole mess to get the main up. And I have said to Julian so many times. "Why the hell did we get off the Hinckley to sail this thing home?" Of course our wives were the smart ones and took the nice boat home. Chris D
