I would also caution against sending it "up the creek without a paddle" - that would block my way to the Bay...

Phil, I object!  Why must the SPAM be kept “at Bay”?  Why not banish it to the desert instead where it would not affect any sailing at all? ;-)  My Bay (The Chesapeake) is a beautiful place to sail, we don’t need all the unwanted spam here.
