There is just one thing I just don't understand regarding this present controversy: Why hasn't Ralph written a bit of verse to bring healing to the list? DT, You asked for it.. LOL r.... Twas several nights before Christmas. That time of the year. When friends get together for laughter and cheer. To celebrate Peace and Good Will Towards all men, No hatred, or complaining, or Flaming,,, but Then, What to my wondering eyes should appear ? But, a whole bunch of "politics" on the list, Yes ! Right HERE! I sprang to my keyboard with my blood running hot, I'll tell 'em ALL just What's right and what's NOT! A Rant that will set them all straight, that's for sure, MY politics and religion, they're CORRECT ones and pure. As I banged on my keyboard, my face turned quite red, Then a little voice spoke to me, inside of my head, 'Tis the Season for forgiveness and to love one another, You may not like his phlosophy, BUT he's really Your brother " And there staring at the front of my LCD screen, I suddenly realized what that voice truly did mean. We're all Saints or Sinners and we may say a harsh word, But we're bothers and sisters and no matter what's heard, When it comes right down to it .. Whether on left or the right, Whether by Intelligent Design or Darwinian delight, We're in this "boat" together. We just have to get along, There's a lot of what's Right and a whole lot of what's Wrong. So I'm setting at my desk side and pondering for a while, I guess I'll write a stupid poem and try to make the list smile.
