Hey folks, I have a buddy who's asking about the WHAM mic. Not the RAM (wired) but the wireless WHAM currently offered on both Uniden and some West Marine VHF models.
I know the technology, but am somewhat dubious of it. Not the RAM (wired) but the wireless WHAM mic. I've found one REALLY negative comment on the Uniden WHAM at Amazon.. (Poor battery life, delay in speech, etc) but can't find any other reports I haven't used one so I can't comment. Maybe someone on List has some insights ? Much thanks
