(sorry, the phone rang and I hit the send button by accident) BUT:
I wanted to ask Andy... what was the wind direction? Most of the big breeze we saw down here was from the NW quadrant and I'd have thought you'd be pretty well protected, from that, in Nyack, with the bluffs behind you and with the protection the big headlands at Rockland/Nyack State Park provide from the North. I'm surprised you guys got hit so bad in Nyack!! ALthough, I remember once driving a VW bus across the Tappan Zee and it was blowing so hard (from the North), especially on the eastern end of the bridge, that when we finally got across I had cramps in my arms from trying to keep the bus in the right lane. No lie. My kid's across the river in Yonkers...said it was a bit breezy. tf > I went to a J105 crew party...we were sorta wishing we were out > and about...if it were 40 degrees warmer. Those piggies are fun > in 25-30. > > tf
