With my "home" waters being 85 miles away and given that we sail/race all over
the mid-Gulf Coast, every regatta is an "away" regatta. When in New Orleans, I
have Gratis as my "condo". I had been thinking about another Campmobile off and
on for a few years now, and this thread ain't helpin'.
Take a look at Ebay and see what those things are selling for...you can pick up
a good Cat 27 for less.
Looks like I'm stuck with the "camper tent" thing that fits in the bed of my
F-150, 'cause I'm not even gonna try to get my skipper to put the cushions (if
he even still has 'em) on the J-35...;>)

Mark, Gratis (6115)

Oh boy, I can see the OT haters are going to get fired up over all of these
VW emails!

A buddy of mine had an old VW Vanagon in high school. The first time I
stepped in it, I said man this is just like being in a boat!! And it was! We
had some many great time on the open road, and gunkholing in some smaller
camping sites. Of course the girls always thought there should be a bathroom
on board! It was just like a little boat. So needless to say, I loved that
thing.
