Happy St. Pat's Day,
After a long winter of baby sitting GUSTY as she weathers a Michigan winter
in the water for the first time this talk of of Keel fairing gets the juices
flowing again. Anyone have an idea what the copu-keel template costs ? I am
going to pull the boat mid-summer and do the bottom anyway, and it would give
me some good before and after data.
BTY winter in the water in mid Michigan has been uneventful for the most
part, but is not for a worry wart like myself. Biggest lesson learned is to
have another source of elec. nearby and ready to go. No, we didn't lose elec.,
but in early Feb. I kept tripping the GFI on the boat, so I separated the two
pumps supply lines and that solved the problem. Other than that it was
uneventful for the most part, and I hope to be sailing April FOOLS day, if it
is above 40.
