It has indeded!!
I was lucky enough to race Wednesday night and as we were returning to
the dock,
we were fortunate enough to be escorted in by long-time C27 listee and
all-around major
good dude, Michael M of "Sea-Cured" fame (who also logged in a Second for
Race 1, Series 1...congrats to Michael & crew).
Michael had the presence of mind to remind me (some might employ the
word, "taunt") that
I, as of yet, have not jumped into the briney foam, or foamy brine, to
see if
I can extract myself from the deadly Di-Hydrogen Oxide, and clamber aboard
a moving (albeit most likely hove-to) Catalina27. Michael was generous
enough to suggest I do it right then and there, and I WOULD have if
there had
been a 'video-camera" on anyone's boat, which, by the Grace of God, there
wasn't.
He also pointed out his fine young son, who was a mere strappling the
last time
I laid eyes on him, and is, nowadays, an elongated male F1 progeny with a
