I had the same problem and was unable to repair or find an "original"
replacement. After many trips to WM I was able to replace all components of
the
traveler/track with components made by Harken. I got the idea from the
traveler kit made for small boats (see page 2114 WM catalog). I used some of
the
same parts in this kit such as the car/control blocks and one of their tracks
shown on the same page. I completed the installation by rigging the control
lines to blocks and cam cleats on the coaming. Not perfect but it works .
Sorry no picture.

I have attached a pic of our worn out traveller car for the main sheet.
What are the chances that you have one of these?
The little plastic wheels are long gone...

Subject: catalina27-talk: Selling off my C27 parts...

...is that a viable course of action?

An Open Letter to the listee who posted a notice to sell parts off his
"extra" C27,

I remember a while back ( a year?) someone was offering lots of parts off of
a C27: winches, rails, lots of stuff.
I actually contacted you at the time and you responded; but, I decided
against buying whatever the part was I wrote you about. In any case, I no
longer
have your email (and, thus, your address)
I am interested in knowing how you ended up from both a clearance, and a
financial point-of-view. If you (or, anyone else on the list who has done the

same) would contact me off-list at: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
I would really appreciate it.
