John Vigor, in his book The Seaworthy Offshore Sailboat states that the C27 was
2nd hand 1973 shoal draft model with the traditional interior. He also covers
the 41 modifications made to Juggernaut. (Appendix 2, page 221)
Surprisingly, to me, replacing the "volcanoes" previously discussed was not one
of the mods. Another question not addressed: was there a working inboard
engine when he bought the boat? At least 2 of the mods were specifically
targeted for the outboard.
