Warning!!
Chris isn't talking about a real Hinckley (that would be one with a mast), but rather one of the admittedly beatiful jet drive picnic boats, etc. Having done a couple day sails on a B-40, the noormal C-27 racing, and a couple of races on dinghies in the last few weeks, it isn't the beat up old boat that's the issue, it's the beat up old bod! That's why they have powerboats, daysailers with self tending jibs, etc. Peter Z -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [email protected] Sent: Tue, 2 Sep 2008 11:50 pm Subject: Re: catalina27-talk: Saw this on Craigslist Those bows are funny as hell. And I can get you hooked up with a Hinckley any time you think you can handle one.? Our best friends are brokers for Hinckley and we are lucky enough to be able to get a ride about once a week.? I ask myself every week when my wife flashes by on which ever Hinckley is available that week, why I am not there with them rather than killing myself racing our beat up old boats. Then we get a decent result, talk about what we did right and what we did wrong over a few beers on the way back to the slip and don't question it again for another 6 days....
