I'm glad to see that this fng was doing it right. I always cleared the lazy 
sheet, it seemed to be the right way to do it.

Lazy sheet must be cleared in order to have a clean tack.

If you have to, hold it till the jib backwinds a bit, but then let the lazy 
sheet run free or you will have problems.  

Whoever is going to the high side after the tack can set up the leeward winch 
with a couple of wraps and a winch handle.
