Thanks guys,

I, actually my sail maker, was thinking of the over r ride potential.  I am
thinking the solution lies in either another turning block to bring the sheet
in at a better angle, or the simple fix of working with he crew on tailing the
sheet at a better angle.

At any rate thanks to all of you for the number of responses and the thinking
and more importantly the experience behind them..The list comes thru again!

dtech -

One thing to  be aware of is the angle of the winch on the coaming leads to
overrides unless you stand when tailing off the winch and pull the sheets UP.
The coaming is canted outboard so if you leave the winch without a level
platform and try to tail while sitting you will have overrrides.

As long as you are aware of the issue it can be avoided, but I have seen many
times experienced sailors come aboard and try to tail off the winch and get
repeated overrides.

Just FYI.
