Hi, Dave--

We have a niece who had a very bad accident about a year ago and incurred
many injuries, including head trauma internal injuries and fractures of the
same degree as Adam. I can tell you that there will be ups and downs as you
go through the next weeks and months, but you will find it helps if you just
keep believing things will improve. This may seem like overly simplified
advice, but I watched it work for my brother and his wife. There were some
very grim times and some plateaus in her recovery, but he kept his faith.
Our large extended family also came together and pulled for her as well. You
may find some comfort in the many people that will step up to help you. The
good news is, our niece is finally able to travel this month and we will be
having a big family reunion with her as the center of attraction.

Sincerely,

Dave S. (Demitri)
