Dave, hang in there. After meeting you and your family just a week ago, I am so encouraged for the outcome for Adam. He has plenty of family support and I am sure local community support, add to that the Catalina 27 support; he will pull through, I am sure. We are all praying for you and especially for Adam.
UMD is a great hospital and I am sure his care is first rate. Joe McCary Aeolus II, West River, MD #4795 [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] Today we had another setback. The stint in Adam's aorta has slipped and has exposed part of the wound which they refer to as a pseudo aneurysm which is a thinning of the wall of the aorta. The Chief Cardiologist, Dr Mehra, said that many people live with this but he believes Adam is young and strong enough for them to try to repair it...otherwise it will be a ticking time bomb.
