Brad,
You spin a goodly yarn yourself, my friend. In my mind's eye I can see the
youth, you were, dreaming. It's a fine and memorable picture!
Thanks for your KIND words.
It's nice to know the story is finding readers..
Part two is on it's way!
Ralph

Ralph,
A great beginning to what seems like a marvelous mystery. I can't wait to
read more. Your judicious dishing out of parts is delicious.
You remind me of my days as a youth wandering the marina docks with my
cohort miscehevious friend and looking at all the boats and dreaming of
sailing to far off places and finding adventure. There was an old wooden
28' boat that I liked, a stubby seawothy boat that I could see would sail
any ocean. Its decks were gray teak, the painted hull peeling and it was
anchored to the bottom, it seemed, by a long mass of growth on its bottom.
I wanted it just as I wanted so many other neglected worn out wooden boats
that appeared I could have for wishing hard enough and maybe a song. But
it wasn't until far later I got my "Boojum", an H-28 I actually lived on
for 5 years.
So thanks for stirring the memories and I can't wait to hear the story of
"EVIG".
Brad
