Friends,

Just some quick follow-up:

Adam had a very good day today.

A few concerns: His white cells are still up. All samples of blood, mucus,
and whatever else they have drawn for cultures have comeback negative. They
did find a blood clot in his left leg and will probably place some type of IV
to catch it. They don't seem to be overly concerned about it.

Some very good things: Adam's EEG came back normal. So there is evidence
that at least one Tierney has a normal brain. Dave brought a MacBook to the
hospital for Adam to use. Adam signed on to his AIM account, and text
messaged
some friends to their surprise. He struggled typing at first but it became
easier. He tires quickly though and did not stay online long but he really
enjoyed communicating with the outside world. They were able to finally fish
a feeding tube past his stomach and into the small intestines. That means
they can feed him without the problem of vomiting. He hasn't been able to
keep
food down in almost five days so he is great need of nourishment and will now
be able to get it. His energy levels should start climbing. All of his
numbers look good. He was very relaxed today.

Please pray that there is no infection and that Adam's white blood cells will
return to normal; that his blood clot will cause no harm and that they will
be able to take care of it; that his energy level will grow; and for
discernment in knowing what to do regarding the next time we go to rehab.

Thanks for your prayers,
Dave and Lisa Tierney
