Just a quick update: If all goes well later today the will remove Adam's trach. Then we wait 24 more hours to see how things go and if they go well...we go home.
We still have several concerns. First, Adam needs to eat. He hasn't really be nauseous but still fears vomiting. He is not eating enough for his body to heal. Second, it turns out both of his vocal cords are weak but seem to be functioning a bit more. Please pray for the complete healing of his vocal cords. Right now, this is what concerns Adam the most.
