Home Deputz sells a few different varies...including a hard cap set.
they range from like 10 bux for the soft to 25-30 for the hard....I
think they
sell them in the Flooring and Carpet areas...for people who spend a lot
of time on their knees.
I bought some hockey or skate knee pads at Sports Authority and didnt like
them much. Then my knee got better and I stopped wearing them altogether.
But a guy I sail with on the J24 wears the hard cap type and he likes
them....he
does trim and you get backed around a lot....J24s really are boxes of
pain, most
people would agree. Better than a Lightning, but only marginally so.
Anyway, you can save some dough by getting them from Homely Deputz
instead of
some expensive sports place, I believe.
