I don't think we should announce updates. I wouldn't find them useful. An alternate feed that announced new documentation might be useful to some people... but even that doesn't seem terribly interesting. However, creating per-project feeds for documentation would be useful. Or, if there were per-project feeds generally that would be even better, which could include documentation and package updates.

(If we're talking about feeds, I wish there was a feed that only included new projects, not updates)
