Seems to me that distutils-sig is about the tools that put stuff up
into the catalogs that need to be discussed on catalog-sig.
The catalog(s) is/are not the tools for creating things to go into
it/them.
That may be, but discussions of one seem to invariably involve
discussion of the other. It seems not many people know about catalog-
sig anyway so the discussions end up on distutils-sig or, worse yet,
python-dev...
Discussions of whether you use Open-ID or whatever, for example, don't
belong on distutils or python-dev.
It's an issue relating to authentication to a catalog and doesn't have
doodly to do with building distributions or developing python per se.
