Probably because everyone else is even worse... I made the mistake of
registering some domains with Registerfly... what a disaster they
were...
The technical aspects of the DNS have succeeded well beyond what I
think anyone hoped for in the early 80's, but I don't think anyone
anticipated the bureaucratic nightmare that would come of the
registrars and ICANN.
