Just FYI, that sounds like DiSo: http://code.google.com/p/diso/ I don’t think there’s direct synergy here, but it seems to me that having a conversation between the projects would be a good idea. I very much like the idea of using the web itself as the social network instead of using a walled garden built on top of it.
