A production quality perl. Dead Rat's usually aren't. Random patches, silly @INC, Scalar::Util broken every fourth release, ... I hear the Fedora community finally have access to the perl package for that, so once their fixes filter down to the enterforaprize versions things will likely be better. But right now, the only thing RHEL/CentOS perl builds are good for is making consultants like us billable hours fixing all the stupid problems and/or moving the client's platform to something else. -- Matt S Trout Need help with your Catalyst or DBIx::Class project?
